Accessibility Statement (Lower Saxony Museum Association)
Everyone involved in the website of the Museums Association for Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg e.V. is continuously working to make the pages as accessible as possible, both editorially and technically.
To achieve this, we apply the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) as far as possible. These guidelines serve as a framework for making web design and web development as accessible as possible for people with disabilities. The website is largely compliant with the requirements of the harmonized European standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (08-2018).
Continuous Optimization
Not only browsers but also specialized assistive technologies for website usage are constantly evolving. We continuously optimize our website for these tools as well. This ensures that our web offering is easier to use for all visitors. We ask for your patience regarding any barriers you may encounter. The ongoing development process requires occasional programming adjustments, which may take some time.
