Description
The “Erlebniswald” (adventure forest) Trappenkamp is the “educational forest centre” of Schleswig-Holstein and offers a special educational programme for nursery schools, schools, adult groups (information leaflets on request). The biggest North German open-air butterfly garden, the magical “Wichtelwald” (gnome wood), close-to-nature adventure trails, pure nature in the wild boar woods and many attractions from our calendar of events invite you to immediately investigate and experience the manifold native animal and plant world. Families with children will find a huge playground with barbecue facilities.

The Trappenkamp Forest Park demonstrates the diversity of domestic flora and fauna. It offers special educational programmes to groups at the largest open-air butterfly garden in Northern Germany, the magical gnome garden, adventuresome nature paths, accessible game reserves, an eagle arena, the TeamTower, and a large playground with several barbecues.
