Description
The Drostei, built in 1767, is one of the most important architectural monuments in the district of Pinneberg. Its elegant style alone, which combines North German brick baroque with elaborate stucco elements in the interior, delights visitors and characterises the townscape of Pinneberg. The Drostei has been the district cultural centre since 1991 and inspires artists and guests alike. Visual arts, music, readings and programmes for young people find an atmospheric setting here.

The most important monument in the district of Penneberg was built between 1765-1767 in the North German brick baroque style with subtle rococo elements. The Pinneberg district cultural centre has been located there since 1991. The meticulously restored halls and rooms are the ideal setting for exhibitions of contemporary art by regional and international artists.
