Description
Since 1985 the former watermill in Moisburg has been hosting the Moisburg mill museum. It displays permanent as well as temporary exhibitions regarding the regional mill history. The water mill in Moisburg is one of the last fully functional mills in the region, still grinding grains regularly. Between mid-April and the end of October the water wheel rotates every Saturday and Sunday and on Sundays milling demonstrations take place. The mill’s interior represents the historic state of the 1930s when it was inhabited by the miller Arnold Fitschen and his family.
