The Kieler Förde has shaped Heikendorf, and especially the village of Möltenort with its small fishing port. At the Fisheries Museum in Heikendorf, interactive exhibitions will show the historical development of fisheries in the Kieler Förde and the Baltic Sea, the upheavals after the Second World War right up to the situation of today’s fishermen.
