In den Jahren 1898-1914 diente das Farmgelände als Quarantänestation für importierte Pferde. Seit den 1920er Jahren ist die Farm im Besitz der Familie Kieckebusch und wird von Simone und Heiner seit 1965 in 2. Generation bewirtschaftet. Die Farm liegt etwa 40 km westlich von Windhuk im Khomas Hochland.
