Die Zuckerzange ist wie eine Werkzeugzange aufgebaut. Einer der Zangengriffe ist wie der einer Schere geformt, der andere ist einer Werkzeugzange ähnlich mit einem seitlich herausragenden Stift. Vorn ist die Zange rund gebogen. Die Zangenspitzen sind flach und ähneln der Schneide eines Beils.
